Have a sneak peek at what fun activities you can expect to see at Mini-Con! We will post more details closer to the time, so be sure to check back and keep an eye on our social media. Brochures with the full schedule will also be available on the day of the event. 

Cosplay Contest

Come in your best cosplay for the chance to win a prize bundle. The contest is split by age group: 0-11, 12-17, and 18+. One winner per age group will be selected.

The contest will begin at 3:00 PM in the Sharon Lawson Room, with prejudging from 12:45 to 2:15 PM in the Board Room.

Rules & Guidelines

  • All contestants must fill out a registration form and bring it to prejudging. Download the form here. Forms will also be available at the brochure table when you arrive.
  • Prejudging is required for all participants. Each contestant will have 1-3 minutes to show off their cosplay to the judges and briefly discuss their handmade elements. 
  • One element of your costume must be handmade or DIY. Contestants lacking any handmade elements will be disqualified.

Crow Swap

Step into the shiny-hoarder spirit of the crows and join us for a whimsical Crow Swap / Trinket Trade! Bring a few small, interesting items—anything quirky, cute, curious, or delightfully odd—and exchange them for another treasure left behind by fellow convention-goers. Whether it's a charm, button, pin, miniature, trinket, or something sparkly you no longer need, the flock is waiting to trade.

Browse the growing collection of mystery items, drop off your own offering, and pick out a new piece to take home. The Crow Swap is all about fun, creativity, and the joy of discovering the unexpected. You never know what shiny surprise you'll find!

Perfect for collectors, makers, and anyone who enjoys a little bit of chaotic crow energy.

Event Parking

Parking at the Blount County Public Library will be available on a first come first serve basis. Due to the size of the event, our parking lot may fill up.

For those who park off-site, we recommend entering through BCPL's Greenway Entrance.

  • Hannum Springs Lot: 0.2 miles away, 5-minute walk
  • Founder's Lot: 0.3 miles away, 6-minute walk
    Only available after Farmer's Market
  • Municipal Parking Garage: 0.3 miles away, 7-minute walk
